Behind the Scenes

In the photo above, I'm sitting at the dining room table we had made after picking out a slab of salvaged Chocolate Acacia wood. What fun it was to look through the salvage yard (especially after living in small apartments for 20 years which didn't have space for a dining table!)

On the table is a bowl of glass fruit that belonged to my Mom (I love having her things around me) and I discovered the glass infinity sculpture at a local antique store. The art on the wall is a giclée of a koi painting by Terry Gilecki, one of the first pieces of art my husband and I ever bought.
